Jagan will make you turn naxalite: Pawan ANANTAPUR: On the last day of poll campaigning, Jana Sena founder-president Pawan Kalyan went hammer and tongs against YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his meetings in Chittoor and Anantapur and urged the people to keep such political leaders away from power.
'Jagan Mohan Reddy has looted people's wealth with impunity. If such a person comes to power, he will force people to turn Naxalites,' Pawan thundered at his meetings.
He also recalled why Jagan had been jailed for more than a year. The film star-politician asked the people to vote in favour of the BJP and the TDP in the elections.
Pawan reiterated his charge that rampant corruption and widespread irregularities during the regime of YS Rajasekhara Reddy had fuelled the Telangana agitation and the bifurcation of AP for the formation of the Telangana state.
He sought to know what had happened to Jagan's Seemandhra pride. He added that a person who could not defend the people of Seemandhra could not develop the region (Residuary state of AP).
Stating that even his mother - whose son is K Chiranjeevi is a Union minister - was also worried over the utterances of and threats by KCR, he wanted to know how the common man from Seemandhra could feel safe in the Telangana with KCR as its chief minister.
