TDP alleges currency notes in Sakshi paper Hyderabad: Seemandhra is witnessing a fierce battle between the YSRCP led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy and the TDP'BJP alliance.
With the news that YSRCP cannot sweep the elections nor it is a cakewalk for it the party is trying all other ways in the last hours.
As per allegations made by TDP leaders the party candidates have been resorting to bribery for winning the polls and using hi-tech ways to lure the voters.
TDP alleged that YSRCP leaders using Jagan owned Sakhi media to distribute currency. Currency notes in 1000 rupees denominations have been found in the Sakshi newspaper distributed to the households. Even those houses which don't get Sakshi paper on daily basis received the newspaper with cash.
Other side , in several places all over Seemandhra, YSRC Leaders were caught distributing fake currency notes to the voters. Police took up suo moto inquiry into the allegations of distribution of fake currency notes by local YSRCP leaders.Police took two YSRCP leaders into custody for questioning.
Despite the fact that the election Commission had adopted so many measures to control the flow of money, liquor and various other things into the elections, an amount of unaccounted Rs 131 cr has been seized alone in Andhra Pradesh based on an official report of National Election Commission. Almost 1cr lts of liquor has also been seized.
By now, Andhra Pradesh has accounted for almost 50% share in the total seizing done around the country. It's high time voters realize the power of vote and voluntarily reject such bribery!
