'After examining various alternatives, the security wing has proposed Lake View guest house to be earmarked as the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's camp office,' official sources said.
Hitherto, Lakeview Guest House had been the official guest house of the State government to provide accommodation for VVIPs coming from outside the State.
The present Chief Minister's residence and camp office at Begumpet will be allotted to the Chief Minister of Telangana State.

The A, B, C and D blocks in the Secretariat would be allotted to the Telangana State and H, K and L blocks to the AP State.
All civil works taken up in the Secretariat and Legislative Assembly are in progress and the works will be completed before the schedule date, Sambob said.

Meanwhile, Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) Hyderabad chapter convener P Anuradha Reddy decried handing over of heritage buildings to the residuary AP State.
'Buildings like Lake View Guest House and Jubilee Hall are the heritage properties of erstwhile Hyderabad State and now, Telangana.
How can they be given to residuary Andhra Pradesh, even if it is for a period of 10 years? Who is going to maintain it? Who is responsible if the AP government decides to make changes in these buildings to suit its requirements and leaves them in a mauled condition?' she asked.
