No need to poach TRS MLAs: Ponnala WARANGAL: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ponnala Lakshmaiah refuted the Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief K Chandrasekhar Rao's allegation that the ruling party was trying to engineer a split in the pink party.
Speaking to media persons in Jangaon town of Warangal district, Ponnala termed the charge as baseless and asserted that the Congress was all set to form the first government in the new State of Telangana.
'Our party will win majority of seats in the region and form the government,' he said. The Telangana PCC chief said that KCR was feeling jittery about the impending poll verdict and was spreading a malicious propaganda.
'The Congress never engineers any defections to weaken any political party but the TRS has to look at its past track record,' Ponnala said.
On the allegation that Congress was trying to poach the potential TRS legislators, the Congress leader said that KCR was not capable enough to keep his flock together and was blaming others.
