ETV2 changed as ETV Andhra Pradesh
Hyderabad: With the appointed day for formation two new states is only a couple of weeks away, ETV group, one of the most prestigious media houses, has launched its new channel for the new state of Telangana.
ETV group has launched ETV3 Channel recently and now the channel was renamed as ETV Telanagna and it would cater the needs of Telangana audience. The channel is being headed by Rajendra Prasad, who has been with the Eenadu group for over 15 years. Interestingly, the channel has neutral Telangana slang. Meanwhile the existing ETV2 channel has been renamed as ETV Andhra Pradesh.
However both ETV Telangana and ETV Andhra Pradesh will remain in Hyderabad even after the division of state. So finally ETV is running three channels for Telugu people including ETV 'Entertainment channel, ETV2- News channel and ETV3- Telangana news channel. Its worth to recall that the media house has already started to distribute its Eenadu daily with two different editions for two regions.
