NDTV Exit polls : TDP, YSRC pitched battle in Seemandhra Hyderabad: Many of the national TV channels started airing exit poll results and most of them favored BJP in Center TDP in state. YSRCP leaders were highly depressed with the results and here comes sigh of relief to the party.
Exit poll by premium national channel NDTV shows Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan Mohan Reddy will score nearly equally in Seemandhra. Of the 25 parliamentary seats in Seemandhra, Mr Naidu's Telugu Desam Party is expected to get 13, with Jagan Mohan's YSR Congress landing 12 in its first ever election.
Coming to Assembly the survey predicts the 50-50 chances for TDP & YSRCP, however the tally was slightly edged towards YCP. The Congress is likely to be punished by voters for sanctioning the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh- the poll shows the party will not get a single seat.
In Telangana, TRS comfortably forms the government as it is likely to win more than 60 seats.Telangana Lok Sabha seats were equally shared by TRS nad Congress.
