88 year old ND Tiwari ties knot
Hyderabad: Controversial veteran politician and Former Governor of AP 88-year-old senior Congress leader Narayan Dutt Tiwari is no more a bachelor. The three times Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh has finally tied the knot with Ujjwala Sharma, Rohit Shekhar's mother in Lucknow
Shekhar had approached the court against Tiwari in 2008, claiming he was born out of an affair between the Congress leader and his mother Dr Ujjwala Sharma. In 2012, Tiwari was forced to give samples of his DNA for a paternity test which established he had fathered Shekhar.
The DNA test results released by the court established that Tiwari is the biological father of Rohit Shekhar, and that Ujjwala Sharma is the biological mother. After a six-year legal battle, the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and governor of Andhra Pradesh Tiwari had admitted as Shekhar was his biological son.
He said "I have accepted that Rohit Shekhar is my son. The DNA test also proved he is my biological son," .After marriage Speaking to the media, Sharma said that the decision to get married was taken by Tiwari and she is very happy about it. Mr Shekhar was reportedly among the guests present at the wedding that took place this morning in Lucknow.
