Botsa accepts defeat before counting Hyderabad, May 15: Former PCC President Botsa Satya Narayana had conceded his party's defeat in the local body elections. Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad on Thursday, Botsa made some interesting comments and said that his party will face imminent defeat due to the bifurcation of the state. He accepted the fact that civic poll results will repeat in Assembly polls too.
'We will lose in Assembly elections too just like we lost in Municipal, MPTC and ZPTC elections. The ruling Congress party did some mistakes during its ten year rule in Andhra Pradesh. The results are just reflecting the same,' said Botsa.
Botsa also said that whichever party comes to power should carry out promises in their manifestos in 100 days of its coming to power.
'Any party which comes to power in Andhra Pradesh must implement its manifesto within 100 days,' Botsa demanded. He said that all political parties have made Congress party a scapegoat in bifurcation issue by turning around after giving consent letters for dividing the state. He also admits that some mistakes have taken place during 10 years of Congress ruling.
Botsa is blaming TDP and YSRCP for taking 'U' turn on bifurcation, but he should remember that it is his Congress party which played big brother role in bifurcation issue and did all the odd things to gain political advantage of that.
The counting for Assembly and Parliament elections will begin tomorrow morning across the state. Experts believe Congress is all set for biggest defeat of its life in Seema Andhra region. In Seemandhra Congress is likely to win less than 10 Assembly seats and also scores a blank in Lok Sabha seats.
