TDP won Malkajgiri MP seat Hyderabad: Much like its metamorphosis from a semi-urban to highly urbanized outback of the State Capital, Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency turned as hot favourite for aspiring Parliamentarians from Congress, Telugu Desam, YSRC and TRS.
Former civil servants Ex-DGP Dinesh Reddy and IAS officer Dr Jayaprakash narayaan contested from the constituency.the verdict of the india's biggest Parliamentary was out and it had gone in Telugu Desam Party's way.
Mallareddy of TDP won the seat with a majority of votes 16,511 over his nearest rival, Mynampally Hanumantha Rao of Telangana Rashtra Samiti. Congress candidate Sarve Satyanarayana has to be contend with third place respectively.
While Telangana sentiment is ruling the roost in all the parliamentary positions in the region, Malkajgiri is the only seat where settlers have a say which tempted many leaders. Finally Mallareddy, the head honcho of educational institutions had last laugh.
