Vijayamma badly losses in Vizag Visakhapatnam: The worst fears of YSRCP come to true and the party's honorary president YS Vijayamma defeated in elections with huge margin. She faced defeat in the hand of BJP Seema Andhra state President, Kambhampati Hari Babu with a deficit of more than one lakh votes.
While YSR Congress is confident that rural voters will easily take Vijayamma to victoryJagan thought this seat will be a cakewalk since TDP is not directly contesting and BJP is almost zero here but he is proved wrong.
He even deployed around 300 YSR Congress activists in Visakha for ensuring the victory of Vijayamma. But TDP votes were successfully transferred to BJP in this Parliamentary position and Jagan party faced life of shock.
Added to that, the presence of huge urban population and settlers from North India also helped Hari Babu's victory. When asked about YS Vijayamma's defeat, Jagan linked it to Narendra Modi's wave. Jagan points out at sky and said he believed in God. Sources say, Narendra Modi might offer a Union Ministry berth to Kambhampati Haribabu.
