Naidu ready to work with his bete noire HYDERABAD: Stating that he had no issues with his TRS counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu said he was ready to work with the pink party chief to develop both Telangana and Seemandhra.
'KCR had earlier worked with me in the TDP. He was my follower. I am ready to work with him to put Seemandhra and Telangana on the track of development,' said Naidu, while speaking to reporters at NTR Bhavan here.
However, Naidu chose to evade a clear reply on sharing power with the BJP at the Centre. When asked about the possibility of the TDP joining Narendra Modi's soon-to-be formed government, the TDP boss said, 'All of you know that I am not a powermonger.
Our party is never after power at the Centre. Even though we had backed the then BJP-led NDA government, we were not part of that government. Power is not important to me; we want to take the help of Narendra Modi for the development of Seemandhra and Telangana.'
Terming the combination of Modi and himself as a 'deadly' one as far as giving good governance is concerned, the TDP chief said he was confident that he could build the truncated Andhra Pradesh from the scratch within no time with his iron will and also with the cooperation of Modi.
Harikrishna greets Naidu
TDP founder NT Rama Rao's son Harikrishna seems to have buried the hatchet with his brotherin- law and party chief N Chandrababu Naidu. Harikrishna called on Naidu and congratulated him for winning the polls. Harikrishna had recently expressed his displeasure at Naidu for not giving him ticket .
