Changing parties helps only some HYDERABAD: The general elections have thrown up mixed results for defectors from different parties. While joining another parity had worked for some, it didn't for many.
In Telangana, actorturned- politico Babu Mohan, who left TDP for TRS, won with a slender majority compared to other TRS candidates. His TDP colleague Myanampalli Hanumanth Rao, who too joined the TRS, suffered defeat.
While senior Congress leaders JC Diwakar Reddy and Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, who defected to TDP, have won, their colleagues A Venkatarami Reddy, Galla Aruna Kumari and D Purandeswari lost the election.
