TRS bid to woo Indrakaran Reddy Adilabad: In spite of having absolute majority in the Assembly, the TRS Party has started attracting MLAs from other parties. Efforts are on to inveigle the two BSP MLAs in the district even before the formation of the government.
K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the TRS supremo, who started 'Operation Akarsh' much before the elections, has now begun to apply it to allure MLAs from other parties. As part of it, dialogue has been started with the two BSP MLAs, Indrakaran Reddy and Koneru Konappa, who have withstood the TRS wave and won on their own personal charisma.
Indrakaran Reddy earlier worked as ZP chairman, twice as MP and as MLA two terms. He has a very good following in the constituency. Even in the Municipal, ZPTC and MPTC elections his followers defeated many Congress and TRS candidates. In the Nirmal Municipality, majority councilors belong to BSP.
Therefore, KCR has cast his eye on Indrakaran Reddy to lure him to TRS so as to strengthen TRS in the district in the days to come. It is learnt that Chandrasekhara Rao had phoned up to Indrakaran Reddy and invited him into TRS.
It is also learnt that KCR's son Taraka Ramarao has taken up the responsibility to woo Indrakaran Reddy.
