Pawan to play long innings in politics Hyderabad: Pawan Kalyan, the Chief of Jana Sena Party and the Tollywood superstar, has all of a sudden become a much sought after politician in the state. For he is making all the right moves and right noises that helped TDP-BJP combine romp home victoriously in the recent polls.
According to sources Pawan Kalyan has set his eyes for a long innings in politics contrary to the assessments of political pundits. His talk about the need to focus on GHMC elections, scheduled to be held in the next six months, and extending support to former Sangareddy MLA Toorpu Jayaparakash Reddy aka Jaggareddy on Tuesday is a case in point of his future plans.
He has been now praised as the power ranger by the BJP leaders, despite the fact nobody knows whether his power has actually worked out during the elections or not. The BJP leaders have made a beeline to his home to congratulate and thank him for his cooperation.
Nevertheless, Pawan Kalyan has been reportedly working out another strategy. Immediately after Jagga Reddy's meet with Pawan Kalyan, who called on him after getting the defeat in the elections, Pawan said that there was a need for powerful opposition in the state. By this it becomes evident that Pawan Kalyan has been making moves keeping in view of long term benefits.
Pawan Kalyan is reportedly of the opinion that there will not be any use if he makes his political entry in the national level, without having a perfect cadre and the base at the grassroots level. According to sources, he targets 2019 general elections and would work in accordance to that.
