Modi unhappy over bifurcation process New Delhi/ Hyderabad: Even before formally taking charge, the Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi has cracked the whip on the officials for the alleged slow movement on the process of bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
In his first meeting with Home Secretary Anil Goswami, Modi expressed dissatisfaction over the fact that the details of the bifurcation were not progressing with the desired pace.
Highly placed sources said Modi is of the opinion that the bifurcation process should be completed before the appointed date of June 2.

Other issues of concern included the finalization of a financial package for Seemandhra. It may be noted that the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh would be one of the major administrative steps after Modi takes oath on May 26.
As reported, Modi is keen to be part of the historic day by being in Hyderabad on the appointed date (June2) provided it does not coincide with the Parliament session.
