Pawan asks KCR not to provoke HYDERABAD: A day after the chief minister-designate and TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao made it clear that he would not allow Seemandhra employees to work in the Telangana Secretariat, Jana Sena founder and film actor Pawan Kalyan asked Rao not ignite regional passions between Telangana and Seemandhra even after formation of the T-state.
Stating that making provocative statements against other regions even after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh would only be detrimental to national integrity, Pawan advised the CM-elect of Telangana state, to exercise some restraint while making political statements on sensitive issues.
Some of the newly-elected lawmakers of the TDP such as MP Ch Malla Reddy (Malkajgiri) and MLAs Teegala Krishna Reddy (Maheswaram), Madhavaram Krishna Rao (Kukatpally) and others, belonging to the segments that fall under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) area, called on Pawan at his residence here on Friday and expressed their gratitude to him for campaigning for the candidates of the TDP-BJP combine in the recently-held elections.
Speaking to reporters on the occasion, the Jana Sena founder asked the Rao not to make inflammatory speeches against the people of Seemandhra.
Thanking Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi, Pawan Kalyan said if he was able to take part in the NDA meeting and sit in the Parliament Central Hall, that was because of Modi's initiative. ''It shows Modi ji's greatness,' he remarked.
Jana Sena to Contest GHMC polls
Speaking about his future political plans, the film actor said: ''I am planning to transform the Jana Sena Party into a full-fledged political party within the next six months.'
He stated that he is planning to field his party candidates in the ensuing GHMC polls, scheduled to be held in December.
