Jagan blames KCR for provoking employees Hyderabad: YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday said that statements made by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrashekar Rao targeting government officers and flaring up regional differences were unwelcome and uncalled for.
In a media statement, Jagan said during the process of bifurcation, KCR had made statements supporting an amicable separation, but now that he was about to become the Chief Minister, he has changed his stance and has been provoking Seemandhra officers.
He declared that the party would offer full support to Seemandhra officers and ensure that justice is done to them. He requested residuary Andhra Pradesh CM-elect N Chandrababu Naidu to stand by the Seemandhra officers and ensure full support to them.
'These officers were already worried due to the bifurcation and were now even more insecure. There is a need for the Centre and also Governor to reassure them about their safety and security,' he said.
The Pulivendula MLA said that such statements were creating differences between officers of two regions, who would like to work together in the common capital of Hyderabad, and were also derailing the constitutional process of bifurcation.
The party chief recollected that he had predicted such hassles and differences would arise during the course of division, but was ignored by the ruling party, which had carelessly gone ahead with the process of dividing the State.
He warned that if the process of bifurcation was not reached amicably between officers of the two regions, the party would not remain a silent spectator.
