H block not complies with Vaastu

Hyderabad: The Chief Minister-elect of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, is said to be having second thoughts on occupying the South 'H' block in Secretariat.

Vaastu scholars are sounding caution to the TDP leadership against opting for the building as it is not Vaastu-compliant.

A team headed by retired IAS officer P Krishnaiah visited the Secretariat on Saturday and inspected the South 'H' block, which is proposed for the CM office of Andhra Pradesh.

He also went round the 'L' block which is said to be the second option in consideration for new CM office. He also discussed the ongoing works at 'H' block with the R&B officials.

The officials explained that the 'H' block was the option of the committee constituted by Government of India for the AP CM office. They said other blocks that were allotted to Andhra Pradesh are also not suitable on security grounds.

Informed sources said that Naidu is reluctant to enter 'H' block due to various reasons and Vastu pundits close to him advised him against entering it. It is learnt that the issue of 'H' block also figured at the meeting between Naidu and Chief Secretary P K Mohanty.

The latter reportedly briefed that the 'H' block was chosen by the buildings committee and the present government cannot do anything now on the change of new block to him. It is for Naidu to take a call on the issue.

'As a Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, you will have every power to change your CMO', Moahnty was learnt to have told Naidu.

Chivukula Raghavendra Sarma, a vaastu consultant, visited South 'H' block on Saturday and found four major faults in the proposed CMO of Andhra Pradesh.

He told that he was studying the building's vastu on his own. He observed that the new occupant of the building would face legal and other problems from the very beginning. The building has roads on all the four sides.

The first fault is that the building faces the road on its South-West side, which is considered to be a major defect. Secondly, the road slope towards South-West side of the building is not advisable to an office. Thirdly, the South-East side of South 'H' block itself has a small tilt and the slope on the East side is also not good, he said.

'In my knowledge, the new Chief Minister would face various problems right from day one if he is entering the block,' he cautioned.
