Chevella MP Konda promises 20 lakh jobs Hyderabad: Chevella MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said that he would personally take up responsibility to ensure that 20 lakh jobs are created in Telangana from the 'Information Technology Investment Region' project that is being planned in the city.
Speaking at the felicitation function held by AV College of Arts, Science and Commerce, where he is a management committee member, KVR said that having a stable government both in the Telangana State and at the Centre would result in development as never before.
He assured students that he and his party would strive to live up to the expectations of the people and make Telangana a forerunner in development. He stated that his political journey had begun three years ago in AV College.
He said, 'It was here that I met the current Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who encouraged me to join politics so that Telangana could become a reality.'
The first time MP congratulated the college on getting reaccredited with 'A' grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and said that he was proud of his association with the college.
He recollected that it was formed in 1968 under the guidance of his grandfather and the then deputy chief ministers K V Ranga Reddy and J V Narsing Rao. AV College managing committee chairman K Pratap Reddy and vice-chairman K Madhusudhan Reddy and others felicitated KVR.
