Open auction for 240 VUDA plots on June 28, 29
VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) will conduct an open auction for disposal of 240 plots in 13 layouts on June 28 and 29.
While the auction for plots in the Sontyam Layout will be held on June 28, the auction for plots in the remaining layouts will be held on the following day. Applications through online will be accepted till June 10. The venue of auction will be intimated to applicants later.
VUDA authorities said that, 300 applications were received with 15,292 options for the plots in 13 layouts in Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram areas.
With the provision of multiple options, 13,669 options were quoted by 170 applicants for 165 plots in the Sontyam Layout alone recording the highest number of options exercised by the applicants. Most of the other options were given for plots in Cyber Valley Sector-I, Sector-II and Madhurawada government layouts.
The Sontyam layout lies on the Anandapuram-Pendurti State Highway, about 7 km from Anandapuram Junction.
Draw of Lots on Haritha on June 22
Meanwhile, VUDA vice-chairman N Yuvaraj said that the draw of lots for allotment of units in Haritha Housing Project will be conducted for 50 units in LIG (low income group) and MIG (middle income group) categories on June 22 morning and the auction for allotment of Rushikonda Row Housing in the afternoon on that day. Applications for allotment of units in Haritha Project will be accepted till June 12.
Applications for auction of plots in VUDA layouts and units in Haritha Housing project will be received through online. For more details and online applications, interested persons can visit the VUDA website 'www.vuda.gov.in'.
