BJP assures full support to Naidu GUNTUR: Heaping praise on the newly sworn-in Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, NDA top leaders described the day as an important day in the history of Andhra Pradesh and expressed confidence that the state will reach new heights under the able leadership of N Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking at the swearing-in, Union Home Minister and BJP president Rajnath Singh congratulated Naidu on his and Prime Minister Modi's behalf.
'I have every confidence that Andhra Pradesh will touch new heights under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu. The Central Government assured maximum cooperation to the State for its growth. I know Chandrababu Naidu as a capable and efficient administrator,' he said.
Stating that he had no words to congratulate Naidu on the occasion, veteran BJP leader LK Advani said Chandrababu Naidu had invited leaders from across the country seeking their cooperation.
'Narendra Modi's Government will extend total cooperation for the development of not just Andhra, but also Telangana and by that will ensure development and progress of the entire country.
We will never forget the role of Chandrababu Naidu in the success of the NDA Government under the leadership of AB Vajpayee,' he said.
Punjab Chief Minister Prakash Singh Badal described the day as a golden day and congratulated the people of Andhra for electing such a good leader, who is an able administrator. Badal recalled the association the Siromani Akhali Dal had with TDP since NTR's time.
Expressing his happiness over Chandrababu Naidu becoming Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Union Minister for Urban Development M Venkaiah Naidu said on one hand he is happy and on the other he is worried.
