English TV producer attends swearing-in GUNTUR: Jonquil Cooper, a London-based television and film producer, along with the members of the Telugu NRI Forum, arrived here Sunday to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Nara Chandrababu Naidu.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that she had come here all the way from London to make a documentary on 'able' leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu and his governance as she had been maintaining good association with the Telugu community residing in the UK.
'I have heard a lot about Chandrababu Naidu and his performance as the chief minister. I am sure he will put up a good show in the future. However, the time will prove everything in the days ahead,' she added.
The Telugu NRI Forum is an international organisation working for the interest of Telugu people across the world. It is encouraging good leaders to be elected in the upcoming elections in India.
Dr Sekhar Vemuri, an NRI, said that they had invited Jonquil Cooper, who is a noted film producer, for the swearing-in ceremony as lakhs of people are attending the ceremony from all over the state. Another member Chandrasekhar Chanda also accompanied her.
