Telangana gets Hyderabad high court Hyderabad: The present common high court of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has been given to Telangana state. To this effect, orders have been issued by the central law ministry. The High Court Chief Justice has been directed to establish a new High Court for Andhra Pradesh state, immediately.
It is worth recollecting that the lawyers have been demanding for separate high courts for either state and the same has become officially authenticated.
In view of the decision taken by the Law Ministry at the Centre, the existing High court in Hyderabad would belong to Telangana state only. More details are awaited.
