Naidu to start work from Lake View Guest House Hyderabad : Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu would start working from Lake View Guest House in Hyderabad from June 19 as his office was not ready in the secretariat.
Initially, Naidu wanted to work from his Jubilee Hills residence, but now changed it as the house will not be adequate to conduct day to day meetings related to administration. Moreover, Naidu's chamber in the secretariat too is not yet ready.
The government has allotted Lake View Guest House for Andhra Pradesh chief minister to use it as camp office, as part of arranging office accommodation to the chief ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh since Hyderabad would be common capital for 10 years.
Naidu enters Lake View Guest House the same day on the first session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly, after the creation of Telangana, commences. The session will be held from June 19 to 24, Finance Minister Y Ramakrishnudu told reporters here on Sunday.
On the first day, the newly-elected members will be administered oath, while on the second day elections will be held for the post of Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
On June 21, Governor ESL Narasimhan will address the joint session. On June 23 and 24 there will be debate on the Motion of Thanks on the Governor's address.
Senior most TDP legislator P Narayana Swamy Naidu is likely to be the Protem Speaker of Andhra Pradesh. The session will be held in the old Assembly hall.
