KCR for Delhi with all party delegation Hyderabad: As promised by KCR, the Chief Minister of Telangana, he would be taking an all party delegates to New Delhi on Wednesday evening, concerning the matter of Polavaram project.
As part of their visit to New Delhi, the team would call on Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, and Rajnath Singh, the Union Home Minister, on Thursday to seek revoking the decision of inclusion of 7 mandals of caved areas under Polavaram Project in Andhra Pradesh.
In the light of central governments ordinance facilitating 7 mandals of Bhadrachalam division that falls under the submegible areas of Polavaram project would be included in residuary Andhra Pradesh, if the same turns into an act.
While Andhra Pradesh welcomes this move, Telangana has been opposing the same as the tribal community would get adversely affected by this action. Even Chattisgarh and Odisha states have been opposing the current design of Polavaram project.
At this juncture, the Thursday meeting of all party delegated with the prime Minister and Union Home Minister attains prominence.
