Vastu correctons to Telangana Bhavan Hyderabad: Vastu bug has bitten the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). The party has decided to give a facelift to its headquarters ' Telangana Bhavan at Banjara Hills-- with Vastu corrections.
According to highly placed sources, the party is keen on making certain changes as per the advice of Vastu experts. The TRS is taking the advice of Vastu expert Suddala Sudhakar, who had suggested some changes in the complex.
Sources said that the TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao insisted on improving the facilities like dining hall, library, meeting hall, separate chambers for different wings of the party and make it among the best party offices in the country.
The party leaders have decided to convert the present meeting hall into separate chambers for different wings like women's wing, legal cell and others.
'Before going to polls, our party president said that the TRS had turned into a 'pucca political party' and he has now decided to make the party office among the best in the country with all modern amenities,' said a TRS leader.
KCR had earlier ordered demolishing a few rooms in the party office after the Lok Sabha elections in 2009 when his priests had said that there was 'Vastu dosham' for the Bhavan being in close vicinity of Jagannath Swamy temple which lies adjacent to the Telangana Bhavan.
The TRS sources said that the party office would have a world class library, which would have newspaper clippings with regard to the party developments and also about the policies and programmes of the TRS government.
The leaders have decided to gather newspaper clippings and other sources of news for the last 20 years. Apart from this, there would be an audio- video library having programs of the party and also of the government.
The kitchen adjacent to the meeting hall would be expanded. The party aims to provide food for everyone who comes to the party office.
The open space beside the kitchen would be used for party meetings (Samavesa Mandiram). The T-News office, housed in the party headquarters, is going to be relocated to Jubilee Hills. Rooms would be made available for the party leaders visiting the city.
The area outside the Bhavan would be beautified with greenery. "The area is categorized as 'heritage valley' and GHMC officials were asked to remove all the debris and take up beautification works. People can see greenery in front of the Bhavan soon," a TRS leader said.
