Counselling for Eamcet likely in July
HYDERABAD: Despite the uncertainty surrounding fee reimbursement scheme, AP HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao has said that Eamcet counselling will be not be affected. In all probability, he said the first phase of engineering counselling will begin on July 5 or 6.
'The counseling will go on smoothly without any hassles. It will commence on an auspicious day either on July 5 or 6,' he said after declaring the Intermediate second year supplementary results here on Friday.
It may be noted that the engineering counselling has been scheduled from June 29 initially. However it was delayed due to uncertainity over fee reimbursement and secondly the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) extending deadline for according permissions to new engineering colleges from June 15 to 20. And, delay in issuance of GOs pertaining to Single Window-2 and Single Window-3 counselling by the both AP and Telangana governments.
The Board of Intermediate (BIE) will also be bifurcated in two-three months, he said.
