Community United at ATA Opening Ceremony Philadelphia, PA, USA: The 13th American Telugu Association (ATA) Conference and Youth Convention started at Philadelphia on July 3rd evening with a grand, glittering and colorful Banquet dinner and Awards function.
ATA President Karunakar Madhavaram took the lead in conducting the program. He along with ATA founder leader Hanmantha Reddy recognized the past President Dr. Rajender Jinna and few others from the past committee for their wonderful service to the organization. ATA also presented awards to several distinguished personalities for their services to the Telugu community.
Telugu community leaders and the big supporters of all the Telugu associations Dr. Lakireddy Hanimireddy, Dr. Pailla Malla Reddy and Dr. Prem Sagar Reddy graced the event. TANA President Mohan Nannapaneni, past Presidents Jayaram Komati, Prasad Thotakura, Secretary Satish Vemana, Joint Secretary Subbarao Kolla attended the convention showing the unity in the Telugu community. Silicon Andhra founder Anand Kuchibhotla and Leadership from NATA and NATS were also present.
Cultural and entertainment programs along with Movie stars including Sriya, Richa Gangopadhyaya, Sudhakar Komakula attracted the audience. Mimicry Ramesh presented an amazing show started with imitating the legend NT Rama Rao. He imitated both the Telugu Chief Ministers Nara Chandra Babu Naidu and K. Chandra Sekhar Rao with a thunderous applause from the audience.
Parmesh Bheemreddy, Conference Convener, Ananth Reddy Pajjur, ATA Secretary, Sudhakar Perkari, Adhoc Committee Co-Chair and President Elect, Bhuvanesh Boojala, Coordinator, Narender Chemarla, Treasurer, Adhoc Committee Members Ram Mohan Konda, Balwanth Reddy Kommidi, Satish Reddy, Vinod Reddy Koduru, Satyanarayana Kandimalla and Ajay Reddy did a wonderful job conducting the mega event in successful manner.
The mega banquet hall hosted a grand dinner for more than 2,000 delegates. The banquet dinner and awards function is meant to recognize the talent and people who did distinguished service to the Telugu community. Only the invitees, donors and people who separately register for this program can attend this exclusive program.
Anchor Madhavi Bathula ran the program well. Dozens of ATA Committee Members and Volunteers made the program a memorable experience.
