In Telangana, the TRS won 202 MPPs of the 381 for which indirect polls were held. Congress bagged 112, TDP 37 and others 21. Following allegations of horse-trading and kidnapping, polls for 24 MPPs were postponed to Saturday.
Of the 653 MPPs in Andhra Pradesh, the TDP bagged 415 while the YSRC won 205. Of the 13 districts in AP, the TDP secured first position in 11 districts barring Nellore and Kadapa which are considered YSRC strongholds.
