AP will get a new Railway Zone soon: BJP VIJAYAWADA: BJP state general secretary Jammula Syamakishore termed the new railway budget as a 'balanced' one at a press conference at the BJP state office in Vijayawada Tuesday. He said that unlike the previous one, the new railway budget aims to develop infrastructure.
Syamakishore further said that the central government is committed to the development of AP and Telangana and six new trains have been allotted to the two states with that objective.
Though no announcement has been made specifically in the rail budget, a new railway zone for AP would be realised soon as the BJP central leadership had promised it, he said.
BJKM state secretary E Malakondaiah, district BJP president Ramineni Venkata Krishna and BJP state excecutive member V Srimanarayana were present in the meeting.
Bharatiya Janata Kisan Morcha (BJKM) state meeting was also held Tuesday at a private hotel in Vijayawada. BJKM vice-president T Anjaneyulu said that efforts would be made to consult all the lead banks in the state and exlpore options for farm loan waiver.
