Superspeciality hospital in every district: KCR HYDERABAD: Reiterating his stand to provide better health facilities to people of Telangana state, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said that the government is trying to provide super specialty hospitals in every district head quarters.
'My government is also trying to provide safe drinking water and keenly focusing on green, clean and pollution free environment in Telangana' said Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday here at inauguration of Triple F Radio Surgery introduced by Yashoda Group of Hospitals.
He mentioned in a review meeting with Forest department, that Telangana state has about 25 per cent of green cover. 'However it is only on paper but not a reality on ground. I instructed them to be cautious and to improve the old degraded green cover per centage in the state' said Chandrasekhar Rao.
On the occasion, quoting World Health Organization (WHO) statistics he said that one in ten run the risk of getting cancer and seven in ten lose life to it. 'If this area is neglected, this is going to be four fold in India, which is not desirable' observed Chandrasekhar Rao.
Speaking about the hospital's journey of providing cancer treatment, Dr G S Rao, managing director of Yashoda group of Hospitals said that they started to provide cancer treatment from 2004. About the Triple F Beam technology, he said that it is more accessible and affordable to people and it treats all types of cancer.
He added that the triple F technology is fastest and treatment procedure takes very less time. 'With 4D imaging it has highest precision. What used to take four to six weeks can be done in one to three days' G S Rao added.
