KCR promises graft free Telangana HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao on Tuesday assured that his government would ensure zero corruption in the process of establishment of industries in the State.
Launching the Phase 2.1 and 2.2 of WaveRock IT Park at Nanakramguda, the Chief Minister said investors and industrialists need not make rounds to the government offices for the process of setting up of units. Steps would be taken to root out corruption allegedly going on in the process of investments, he said.
He said his government was planning to introduce an industrial policy with due focus on 'single window system'. Project approvals would be speeded up through an exclusive single window system with a 'chasing' cell attached to the Chief Minister's Office.
'The mechanism will allow investors get needed clearances in about three weeks' time. When the system is in place, investors would not have to shuttle between the departments,' he said.
KCR said, 'The brand Hyderabad and Telangana will be promoted on global level. Urban infrastructure, IT and industry will be given due attention in the government's policies. Hyderabad has become the premier destination for IT companies. However we cannot simply rest on past laurels. We need to seek opportunities in developing IT products, services and interactive experiences and technologies for global markets.' He added, 'State is keen to develop Hyderabad as the best smart and digital city in future globally.
Information Technology is a competitive industry with changing dynamics and Hyderabad companies, professionals and those pursuing their education in this field would need an innovation-based ecosystem to stay competitive. The government will help boost IT sector.
'The Chief Minister said the government was also taking steps to improve safety, law and order in the State and efforts are being taken in Hyderabad already. An international consultant will also be roped in creating a master plan to shape it as a unique city.
Hoping that the Pearl City would become a noted place for inventions and new launches of a wide gamut of products, he said Hyderabad has tremendous future as investors from across the country and abroad are showing keen interest.
Trying to inculcate confidence among the businessmen and investors to rope into Hyderabad for their new business ventures and entrepreneurs, KCR said his government would provide a friendly working and business environment besides offering total security to people. It is for the investors and industrialists to come and participate in the reconstruction of 29th State of Telangana, the Chief Minister added.

And now with political stability both at State and Centre, decisive leadership and an improving global economy, we will look forward to working with companies in creating Hyderabad as an attractive investment destination.'
