T-TDP accuses KCR of misleading farmers Hyderabad, Aug 8 (INN): Telangana Telugu Desam Party on Friday accused Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of misleading the farmers on various counts.
Speaking to media persons here, Telangana TDP President L Ramana alleged that KCR was not serious in implementing the promises of waiving off agricultural loans.
He said the recent lathicharge on farmers in Medak district gave clear indications that the TRS Government was neither serious in fulfilling the promises nor it would tolerate any protests.
Referring to the lathicharge against Omania University students, he said it was shocking that KCR has ordered lathicharge on the farmers and students whose support brought him to power in Telangana.
Meanwhile, T-TDP leaders Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Motukupally Narasimhulu also accused KCR of ignoring the welfare of farmers. They blamed KCR's inefficiency to resolve the power crisis. They alleged that nearly 180 farmers have committed suicide after TRS came to power in Telangana State.
They also raised doubts over the conduct of Comprehensive Household Survey in just one day on August 19.
