Kanumuri refuses to quit TTD post
Tirumala, Aug 8 (INN): Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD) chairman Kanumuri Bapiraju on Friday made it clear that he would not resign from his post.
Amid speculations of resignation in view of abolition of management boards of all temples, Kanumuri said that TTD Chairman is very sacred and he would not resign on his own. However, he said he would abide by the decision taken by Andhra Pradesh Government in this regard.
Admitting that he has requested Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu to allow him to continue on the post till the completion of his term, he said he wants to continue till the new board takes over the TTD.
