TS Govt constitute separate Public Service Commission
Hyderabad, Aug 8 (INN): The Telangana Government on Friday issued orders constituting a separate Public Service Commission for the new State.
"The Government of Telangana State have decided to constitute a separate Public Service Commission for the State of Telangana with immediate effect for making selections to the posts under various categories meant for direct recruitment under its purview in the State of Telangana and for carrying out functions under article 320 of Constitution of India," the GO issued by Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Sharma said.
The Commission has been constituted as per Section 83 (2) of the Andhra Pradesh Re-Organisation Act, 2014 (Central Act.6/2014).
