MLA Srinivas Goud defends household survey Hyderabad, Aug 13 (INN): Mahabubnagar MLA Srinivas Goud strongly defended the TRS Government's decision to conduct the Intensive Household Survey.
Speaking to media persons here, the TRS MLA said that the State Government was conducting the survey on August 19 to identify the deserving beneficiaries of welfare schemes.
He said that the State Government had every right to hold the survey which would also expose the irregularities committed by the previous governments and officials. He condemned the objections being raised against the proposed survey.
Referring to the representations made to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh by some MPs of Andhra Pradesh State, Srinivas Goud said that objections were being raised by the people who are afraid of getting exposed for the mistakes that they committed during previous regimes. He said that the Centre should not intervene in the matters related to the State.
