KCR, Naidu ignoring people's welfare: CPI Hyderabad, Aug 14 (INN): Telangana CPI Secretary Ch Venkat Reddy on Thursday alleged that Chief Ministers - K Chandrasekhar Rao (Telangana) and Nara Chandrababu Naidu (Andhra Pradesh) were not serious in the welfare of people in their respective States.
Speaking to media persons here, Venkat Reddy said that both the Chief Minister were still pursuing their politics while ignoring the welfare of common man.
He said that the ego war between the two Chief Ministers was hurting the interest of poor people. He advised them to give priority to the social welfare than continuing with their politics. He also accused the BJP-led NDA of trying to private the public sector undertakings.
Venkat Reddy also condemned the delegation of special powers to Governor in Hyderabad. He said that the Centre should not encroach upon the rights of Telangana Government. He said Governor's rule in Hyderabad was not acceptable in any circumstances.
The CPI leader advised the government to ally fears related to Intensive Household Survey to be conducted on August 19. He said that the government should mentally prepare the people before initiating the exercise.
