Jagan threatens to file defamation against TDP leaders Hyderabad, Aug 18 (INN): YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Monday threatened to file defamation cases against the TDP leaders if they continue to drag his name in the murder case of former minister Paritala Ravi.
Reacting to the allegations leveled by the TDP MLAs, Jagan said that the court has already convicted the accused in the Paritala Ravi murder case. He made it clear that he was not connected with the murder case in any way.
He warned that the TDP MLAs should either stop making false allegations or face defamation cases. He alleged that the TDP leaders were raising the issue of decade-old Paritala's murder case only to divert attention from the deteriorating law and order situation in Andhra Pradesh since TDP came to power.
Jagan claimed that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was well aware that he had no connection with the murder case. He said if allegations against him were true, then why Naidu admitted JC brothers into the TDP.
