Survey: Another chance for those 'Left Over' HYDERABAD: The Telangana government will give another chance for those people who have not been covered in the Intensive Household Survey (IHS). The dates of a fresh household survey will be finalised after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao returns from his Singapore trip.
Principal secretary (Planning) BP Acharya and Principal Secretary (Rural Development) Raymond Peter conducted a video conference with district collectors on the IHS at Secretariat on Wednesday. The survey was completed for 1.5 crore households in the state.
According to officials, the survey was conducted for 1,05,76,922 houses in the State. In GHMC area alone, survey was carried out in 19.43 lakh houses. Hoever, around 1.9 lakh households in GHMC area, 10,655 houses in Ranga Reddy district and around 10,000 houses in Khammam and Warangal districts are yet to be visited by the enumerators.
The leftover people would be given another chance and the dates for the inclusion of leftover houses would be decided by the Chief Minister, the officials said.
Meanwhile, the collected data would be compiled in all the districts from Friday. As many as 381 data entry operators were appointed by the administration to include the data. Later, the reports would be circulated to officials concerned.
