Naidu calls on the Petroleum Minister New Delhi, Aug 25 (INN): A delegation led by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu called on the Minister of State (Independent charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan here on Monday to discuss the issues concerning the petroleum sector.
The matters like proposals to setting up a top-class petroleum University, setting up an LNG terminal and a Greenfield refinery in the state were discussed. The issue of setting up Gas Grid, establishing City gas supply in the states, and rationalizing the LPG connections were discussed.
Pradhan said working groups, comprising representatives of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, state government and PSUs will be set up, to look into the issues of refinery and petrochemical complex.
