Naidu to visit Japan seeking investments NEW DELHI: Maintaining that he is preparing a vision document-2029 for developing Andhra Pradesh as a healthy and happy state in the world, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday hoped that the state will get foreign investments in a big way.
In an interaction with members of the Foreign Correspondents Club, Chandrababu announced that he would visit Japan in November to attract investments. He also hinted that he would soon visit Korea and China to attract investments.
Enlisting the opportunities for the foreign investments in Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu said the state has a 1000-km long sea coast, minerals, gas, coal reserves. He said that unlike other states of problems in acquiring land, Andhra Pradesh has government land, besides tourism.
Admitting that there are problems initially immediately after division of the state, Naidu said his government is striving to lay the foundation for a logistic hub and building infrastructure to develop the state.
Referring to the petrochemical corridor, Chandrababu said that he would develop a gas grid to every village, besides attracting the best professors across the world to advise the government to improve the quality of education in the state.
