Kishan Reddy congratulates Vidyasagar Rao
Hyderabad, Aug 26 (INN): Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy has welcomed the appointment of Ch Vidyasagar Rao as the Governor of Maharashtra.
Speaking to media persons after felicitating Vidyasagar Rao and Union Minister Kalraj Mishra at the BJP officer here on Tuesday, Kishan Reddy said that it was a matter of pride for the people of Telangana that Vidyasagar Rao has been selected for the top post of an important State. He said in its earlier term, the BJP Government had appointed V Rama Rao as the Governor and now it picked Vidyasagar Rao for the post.
He also informed that the BJP was making arrangements to celebrate the Hyderabad Liberation Day at a grand scale on September 17. Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreyya, former Governor Rama Rao and other leaders were also present in the felicitation function.
