Etela asks Centre to provide 1500 MW of power Hyderabad, Aug 26 (INN): Finance Minister Etela Rajender on Tuesday urged the Centre to provide additional 1500 MW of power to Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons at the State Secretariat here, Etela said that the Telangana State has been facing severe energy crisis and therefore, the Centre should come to its rescue by providing 1500 MW of power. He said that the Centre should address the needs of both the Telugu speaking States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Etela also said that the Telangana Government would soon unveil its industrial policy wherein the investors would get attractive sops. He said that the industrialists and investors need not worry about the ongoing power crisis as Telangana would be an energy surplus State in the next three years.
