KCR conducts aerial survey of twin cities Hyderabad, Dec 28 (INN): Having expressed his resolve to free Hyderabad from traffic congestions, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday conducted an aerial survey of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts to study the possibilities of implementation of his plans.
During his aerial survey, the Chief Minister enquired about the roads, connecting highways, junctions and forest cover. Later, he also visited the Harini Deer Park near Vanasthalipuram. He interacted with the officials on the best means to ease out traffic congestion in the twin cities of Hyderabad.
It may be mentioned that the Chief Minister has held three high-level review meetings to discuss the issue. He has already directed the officials to prepare a plan for construction of elevated corridors, skyways and multi-level grade separators to resolve the problem of traffic chaos in the twin cities.
Proposing construction of 11 skyways on highly congested roads, he has proposed multi-level grade separators on major junctions. He also wanted elevated corridors for the traffic entering into the city from different districts, the Chief Minister said.
The aerial survey on Sunday is being seen as part of the exercise to make Hyderabad a congestion-free city.
