High Court warns YSRCP MLA Kodali Nani Hyderabad: YSRCP MLA from Gudivada in Krishna district, Kodali Sri Venkateswara Rao aka Nani received a jolt from High Court. Nani recently filed a petition in the high court seeking to declare appointment of J V Ramudu as DGP of Andhra Pradesh as illegal.
Nani alleges that Ramudu got extension of his service after his date of birth was corrected in the year 1993. He also feels that Ramudu has been offered the DGP post only because he helps Chandrababu Naidu to make coup against former CM of the undivided AP state late NTR.
So, Nani believed that Ramudu is not deserved to be appointed as the DGP of the state and so he should be stripped off from his post. In his petition Nani had asked court to cancel the GO and fill the spot with a senior officer than Ramudu.
But Nani received an unexpected answer from the high court and they lashed out on him. Lashing out at Nani, High Court told him to not to waste court's valuable time with silly petitions.
"Despite being a public representative, why do you want to waste court's time?" questioned the bench. The court also asked his counsel why did he approached it without going to Tribunal court.
