TRS wooing Danam Nagender
HYDERABAD: After succeeding in luring city TDP MLAs Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Teegala Krishna Reddy into its fold, the ruling TRS is now eyeing Congress strongman and former minister from the city Danam Nagender.
With a view to getting a firm foothold in the city and to win the ensuing GHMC elections, the TRS is making all efforts to rope in leaders from all parties into its hold. Sources say the TRS is in touch with the former minister and is holding parleys with him. Nagender is weighing his options.
The TRS has also sets its sights on some former municipal corporators belonging to the Congress and TDP.
