Dowry demand drives woman techie to commit suicide
HYDERABAD: A 25-year-old woman software employee, R Raghavi, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan at her residence in Meerpet.
Police said she could have taken the extreme step after her lover demanded huge dowry for marrying her. During the preliminary investigation, it was found that Raghavi had an affair with Sushil Kumar.
Susheel who was in Australia promised to marry her after his return. He came back to the city recently and both of them had an argument over marriage on Tuesday.
