44 IAS, 28 IPS officers relieved from AP HYDERABAD: The Andhra Prdesh government on Sunday issued orders relieving 44 IAS, 28 IPS and 30 IFS officers in view of their allotment to Telangana.
It has, however, not relieved nine IAS officers for reasons such as obtaining interim stay from the Central Administrative Tribunal, applying for allotment to AP cadre under swap/spouse grounds and under suspension, saying that such officers had been retained in the cadre of AP, pending clarification from the Centre.
They are A Vidya Sagar, Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Yerra Srilakshmi, Ajay Jain, Ail Kumar Singhal, Siddharth Jain, Chevvuru Hari Kiran, Siva Shankar Lotheti and Gummalla Srijana.
As the Centre ordered that some IAS officers borne on the undivided cadre of AP are allowed to work in the cadres mentioned against their names till a final decision on the allotment on their cadre is taken by the Advisory Committee on merits and in accordance with the approved policy, the AP government decided to retain them in their present positions. They are JSV Prasad, A Shanti Kumari, A Vani Prasad, V Karuna and M Prashanthi.
