Bus mishap: 13 out of 16 victims were students
Hyderabad, Jan 7 (INN): As many as 13 out of 16 people who were killed in the tragic bus mishap between Madakasira-Penukona in Anantapur district on Wednesday morning were students.
While two of them Murali (11) and Narendra (15) were students of 6th and 10th class respectively, 10 others were intermediate students. One student, Hanumantharayudu (20) was doing B Com second year. The intermediate students have been identified as E.Anil (16), M.L.Laksghminarayana (16), Narasimha Murthy (16), T AShok Kumar (17), Anitha (17), Dasari Gangadhar (17), Sekhar (17), Ashok Kumar (17), Gangadhar (17) and Gangadhar (18). They hailed from Mavaturu of Penukonda mandal, Gobburampalli, Anandapuramu and Bandapalli.
The deceased also include T Ramkrishna (47), Forest Beat Officer of Chilamathur and Sreenivasulu (35), Sarpanch of Hemavathi village in Amarapuram mandal.
The Andhra Pradesh Government has also released the list of 51 injured persons. While 46 persons are undergoing treatment at Government Hospital in Hindupur, five have been admitted to Ananthapuramu Government Hospital.
