AP Govt offices to shift by July HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who is keen to shift the administration to the capital region from Hyderabad, announced that most of the offices would be shifted to the new capital region of the state by June or July.
Disclosing this at a media conference, Naidu said efforts were being made to shift all the major offices to the capital region in the next few months.
'A 3.5 lakh sq ft area of pre-fabricated structures are being constructed to accommodate various offices in the capital region. This structures would be readied in the next four months. After the next July, only skeletal offices would function from Hyderabad,' he said.
He said a Singapore delegation would be visiting Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati along with him to take part in an interactive meeting with local businessmen.
